How does it work?
Create the group: a name and the participants’ first names. No account, no email.
Share the link on WhatsApp: everyone adds what they paid, from their own phone.
Settle up: the tool works out who owes how much to whom, with as few transfers as possible.
No expense limit, no intrusive ads
Some apps limit the number of expenses per day in their free version or make the whole group install the app. Here, everything happens in the browser: open the link and off you go, even for grandma who doesn’t have the app.
Equal split or by shares
An expense can be split between everyone, between just a few people, or by shares (a couple counts as 2, a child as ½). Repayments between participants are added in one click.
Your data is temporary
The group is deleted automatically 60 days after the last change (and at the latest one year after it was created). The exact date is shown in the group. You can also delete it yourself, and export the accounts first.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install an app?
No. The group opens in the phone or computer browser, through the shared link. Nobody needs to create an account.
How many expenses can I add?
As many as you need: there’s no daily limit. A group can hold up to 1,500 expenses and 50 participants.
Who can see and edit the accounts?
Everyone who has the group link, like a shared spreadsheet. The link is long and impossible to guess: only share it with the participants.
How is “who owes whom” calculated?
For each person, we take the difference between what they paid and what they consumed. Then the tool suggests the smallest number of transfers to bring everyone back to zero.
How long is the group kept?
60 days after the last change, and at the latest one year after it was created. Then it is permanently deleted. You can export the accounts (CSV or PDF) beforehand.
